Scan appointments are 45 minutes at a rate of £125. An initial consultation to determine whether a scan will be beneficial is free of charge.

Scans can be performed with real-time feedback within 30 minutes. The lead time for an appointment is typically less than 7 days.

The results of your scan will typically be discussed on the day, as the area is being examined and scanned and a medical report will be provided within 2 business days.

A medical report of your scan results is provided to you within 2 business days of your scan, and can be provided to your doctor for further management.

Ultrasound examinations are not typically painful but naturally you may experience some discomfort if the technician is applying any pressure to an injured area. Because ultrasound scans are dynamic, i.e. you may be moved in different positions for the purpose of assessing the area, you may experience some post-scan soreness if you have an acute or inflamed injury.

Please aim to wear loose fitting clothing that allows the technician to reveal the skin over the region that is being scanned. If you are not able to, please don't worry, appropriate covering will be provided if you need to remove items of clothing.
